Randstad Canada is assisting a Guelph-based tree service provider in recruitment of Skilled Production Climbing Arborists to lead a crew of three. The role entails climbing daily, operating bucket trucks, and performing pruning, removals, and maintenance with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Job Overview: We are seeking multiple Skilled Production Climbing Arborists to lead a crew of 3 in tree pruning, removals, and maintenance. You will be operating bucket trucks, climb daily, and ensure safe, efficient operations. This role offers year-round work, competitive pay, and unique perks like early finishes and extended long weekends. For candidates outside of the geographical areas, free housing is also a possibility.
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour (with DZ or higher license)
Ability to quote with additional bonuses ($10 per quote on all quotes sent out. 3L of fuel per quote sent out. 4% commission on approved quotes.)
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm (as late as 3:30pm) (40 hours a week)

Skilled Arborist with at least 2 years of experience climbing and running a bucket truck as a Crew Leader. Valid DZ license (required) and clean driving record. Client may be willing to train for right individual. Experience operating bucket trucks and grapple saws (hoisting/engineering ticket an asset). Strong leadership skills to manage a crew of three climbers. Knowledge of tree species, diseases, and care techniques specific to Southern Ontario is an asset. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Willingness to learn with training provided for the right candidates.
