Job summary

Arbour Crest Tree Services Ltd. in Saskatoon, SK is seeking a Production Arborist to join our growing tree and landscape team. You will climb, prune and remove trees using ropes, saddle or a bucket truck, lead small crews and contribute to safety and quality workmanship.

Experience with pruning/removal, equipment maintenance and basic estimating or sales is an asset. ISA certification preferred but not required. Training provided.

• Driver's license and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Climb and prune/remove trees; operate ropes, saddle/spurs, and bucket truck as needed.
• Lead small crew; perform arborist duties and maintain equipment.
• Various tasks including pruning, tree removals, hedges, ornamental shaping, stump grinding, and related arboriculture work.
• Assist with estimating duties when required.

Duties:

• Production Arborist required for a growing tree and landscape service company. Experienced climbers only who are able to climb and/or use a bucket truck to prune and remove trees.
• Ability to work and lead small crew, perform arborist duties and maintain arborist equipment.
• Wide variety of jobs include pruning, climbing with ropes and saddle or spurs, bucket truck work, tree removals, hedges, ornamental shaping, tree fertilizing, stump grinding, tree surgery, tree nursery work, etc.
• Estimating duties may be required as well.
