Job summary

Sioux Lookout Non-Profit Housing Corporation is seeking a skilled and reliable painter to complete interior and exterior painting projects across our apartment complexes and housing properties.

You will perform surface preparation, patching, sanding, caulking, priming, and apply high-quality finishes in occupied residential buildings while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and meeting project timelines. This is a long-term opportunity with ongoing work for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Proven painting experience in residential settings.
• Ability to prepare surfaces and apply finishes with attention to detail.
• Reliable, organized and able to work independently in occupied buildings.

Responsibilities

• Interior painting of hallways, common areas, and shared spaces in apartment buildings.

WORK WILL INCLUDE:

• Interior painting of hallways, common areas, and other shared spaces in our apartment buildings
• Exterior painting of row housing and duplexes
• Surface preparation, including patching, sanding, caulking, and priming as required
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Completing quality work with attention to detail
• LONG-TERM WORK OPPORTUNITY

We anticipate painting projects to take place over the next several years, providing an opportunity for ongoing work for the right individual or contractor.
