Job summary

PagnottaInc. in Edmonton, AB is seeking skilled construction (concrete) laborers to assist our formwork carpenters. This role offers a path into carpentry apprenticeship for the right candidate and year-round, full-time work.

You will help with tasks such as demo worksites, material handling, crane/hoist assistance, and maintaining a clean site. WHMIS and CSTS training provided; steel-toe boots required; reliable transportation essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in concrete form setting or general construction is required.
• Reliable transportation to on-site locations is required.
• Ability to lift 11–25 kg and work in varying weather conditions.
• WHMIS and CSTS training provided or completed is preferred if available.

Responsibilities

• Assist formwork carpenters and crane/hoist technicians as needed.
• Demo worksites and prepare areas for new concrete pours.
• Inventory counting and material handling on-site.
• Unload/load materials and maintain site cleanliness.

We are currently recruiting Skilled Construction (Concrete) Laborers to assist our Formwork Carpenters in Edmonton, AB. This is an excellent way for the right candidate to start a career. The successful candidate could move into a carpentryapprentice role after several years of experience.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist tower crane and hoist technicians with any duties theyneedhelp with
• Demo worksites and prepare them for new concrete pour or placemen
• Inventory counting and management
• Unloading and loading materials
• Cleanup and organization
• Degrease cranes and skips
• Perform maintenance
• Operate skid steer

Working Conditions

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime and work on weekends as required.
• Long term, steady, year-round work
• One paid 15-minutebreakand one ½ hour unpaid lunch break per day
• Combination of inside and outside work. Appropriate dress required.
