Job summary

GreenTech Resources Worldwide Canada is seeking a skilled carpenter for a full-time, permanent position in Regina, Canada. You will install structures, frames and finishes, read blueprints, and adhere to safety standards on a busy construction site.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 4 years of carpentry experience, apprenticeship completion, and strong math and English skills. Applicants must be physically fit and able to work 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4 years of carpentry experience.
• Hands-on experience with carpentry materials.
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and installation.
• Proficient with electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Solid math skills.
• Good physical condition and endurance.
• High school diploma and carpentry apprenticeship completed.

Responsibilities

• Install foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using various materials.
• Fit and install window frames, doors, frames, hardware, and interior/exterior trim with level and tools.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for work at height.
• Study blueprints and plans to determine dimensions and materials.
• Shape or cut materials to measurements using tools.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean job site.
• Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, and floors using woodworking machines or hand tools.
• Assemble materials to make frameworks or props using hand tools and fasteners.
• Remove damaged parts and repair or replace with tools.
• Inspect ceilings, floors, walls, and woodwork for defects.
• Move materials around the job site as needed.
