Job description

Park Paving Ltd. has been locally owned and operated for 50 years as one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton, and we are looking for EXPERIENCED SKID STEER OPERATORS to join our FAC DIVISION for the 2025 construction season.

These are seasonal positions that offer a competitive wage with benefits.

Skid Steer Operator primary duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Completing pre-trip and preventative maintenance on your assigned vehicle (greasing, drum maintenance, etc.)
  • Have a clear understanding of the job you are to complete.
  • Transport materials with minimal spillage on roadways.
  • Other responsibilities include tooth changes, proper maintenance of equipment, training new employees, and labor requirements the foreman requests from you to keep the job progressing.
  • Operate in a safe manner while moving piles for the milling machine, loading trucks with material, or sweeping with the bobcat brooms or Broce Broom.
  • Maintain site cleanliness, including barricades and roadways.
  • Perform general laborer duties as needed.

Successful candidates will thrive in a physically demanding, highly productive, and high-pressure environment. They will also possess a valid driver’s license and have a strong drive to contribute to the team's success by working with operators and other crew members to perform a wide range of duties. Successful candidates will also be able to maintain a safety-minded and high accountability work culture while working with their direct supervisors and other employees while maintaining a positive and respectful work environment.

Pay Scale: $23 - $25
