Your tasks

As a Ski Lift Labourer, you will be working in the mountains at ski resorts in Western Canada (British Columbia & Alberta). You will be involved in the critical stages of lift installation. This position involves overtime and daily live-out allowances.

Job summary

• Wake early and work in the mountains.
• Assemble and adjust prefabricated metal, electrical, and mechanical components.
• Participate in the critical stages of ski lift installation, including surveying, excavation, foundation forming, concrete placement, mechanical assembly and steel erection, tower flying, rope rigging, splicing, lift tuning, and adjustments.
• Operate equipment such as trailers, forklifts, telehandlers, and cranes.

Your profile

• Willing and available to work on remote sites, sometimes 10 hours a day, 6 days a week.
• Skilled in handling and carrying tools manually.
• Physically fit to lift loads of up to 35 kg and work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, snow, and at heights.
• Relevant construction training is an asset.
• Intermediate proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license.
• Valid and unrestricted passport.
• Knowledge of the metric system.
• Ability to work and live in a team for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and meticulousness.
• Interest in working at heights occasionally.
