As a Ski Lift Labourer, you will work in the mountains at ski resorts in Western Canada (British Columbia & Alberta). You will be involved in critical stages of lift installation. This position involves overtime and daily live-out allowances.

Job summary

1. Wake early and work in the mountains.
2. Assemble and adjust prefabricated metal, electrical, and mechanical components.
3. Participate in critical stages of ski lift installation, including surveying, excavation, foundation forming, concrete placement, mechanical assembly, steel erection, tower flying, rope rigging, splicing, lift tuning, and adjustments.
4. Operate equipment such as trailers, forklifts, telehandlers, and cranes.

Your profile

1. Willing and available to work on remote sites, sometimes 10 hours a day, 6 days a week.
2. Skilled in handling and carrying tools manually.
3. Physically fit to lift loads of up to 35 kg and work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, snow, and at heights.
4. Relevant construction training is an asset.
5. Intermediate proficiency in spoken and written English.
6. Valid and unrestricted driver's license.
7. Valid and unrestricted passport.
8. Knowledge of the metric system.
9. Ability to work and live in a team for extended periods.
10. Attention to detail and meticulousness.
11. Interest in working at heights occasionally.
