Job summary

Brandt is seeking a Site Supervisor for its Regina, SK location. The role will supervise and coordinate activities of suppliers, delivery companies, subcontractors and staff on-site, ensuring projects follow schedule, specifications and budget.

The position acts as the front line for PM and Design groups at the job site. Responsibilities include QA/QC, scheduling, material take-offs, and safety training while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and ensuring on-site operations meet

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in construction.
• Experience in property development and property management.
• Journeyman Carpenter Certification Red Seal or higher.
• Proven training experience with regards to job site safety.
• Clean driver’s abstract.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site activities of suppliers, delivery companies, subcontractors and site staff.
• Coordinate, schedule, QA/QC, and evaluate construction projects from start to finish.
• Manage tool and asset inventory and cost tracking of general PO’s.
• Read blueprints and oversee safety training and compliance.
• Contribute to project scheduling and material take-offs.

Job description

Brandt is currently seeking Site Supervisors for its Regina, SK location. This position will be a supervisory role and will monitor and coordinate at the site level the activities of supplier, delivery companies, subcontractors and subordinate staff. The Site Supervisor will also assist in coordinating, scheduling, QA/QC, and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget. The position is to be the job site front line on behalf of the PM and Design groups.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Site work including repairs, matching, layout, framing, forming and reinforcing, concrete place and finishing, equipment operating, site staging, subtrade preparation.
• Management and/or self-performed execution of renovation and construction projects
• Tool and asset inventory management
• Trade scope management
• Blueprint reading
• Cost tracking of general PO’s
• Time tracking and approvals
• Construction project scheduling
• Material take-offs & ordering
• Property/Facility Management
• Communication skills written and verbal
• Supervisors are expected to be on the tools when required
