Job summary

The Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce is seeking a hands-on Site Supervisor to keep commercial construction projects moving, teams aligned, and quality high. You will oversee daily on-site activities, coordinate trades, and ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

This role requires 3–5 years in commercial construction, ability to read blueprints, and strong leadership with excellent communication. A company vehicle is provided along with daytime hours, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial construction.
• 2+ years leading teams and managing subcontractors.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving abstract.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities and personnel.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within scope.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor work quality to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and standards.
• Enforce health and safety policies and ensure a safe work environment.
• Schedule and coordinate trades, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily logs and reports.
