Job summary

Securitas Canada Limited in Brampton/Caledon is seeking an experienced Security Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day security operations across Brampton and Caledon sites. The role requires travel between locations and coordinating with client staff to ensure a smooth contract start-up.

The ideal candidate holds an Ontario Security Guard License with First Aid/CPR, supervisory experience, and knowledge of local regulations.

Qualifications

• Ontario Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR certs, Smart Service Certification or willingness to obtain.
• 6 months to 1 year supervisory experience in security, preferably manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Ontario security regulations and property protection standards.
• Experience with access control, patrols, alarms, CCTV, and incident response.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with discretion and problem-solving ability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and security management systems.

Responsibilities

• Travel between Brampton and Caledon locations as required during transition.
• Assist client with selecting, onboarding, and training security staff prior to launch.
• Support setup and implementation of security operations at both sites.
• Assist with post orders, site procedures, staff expectations and readiness.
• Help establish vision, culture and standards for the security team.
• Provide general support to ensure a successful contract start-up and transition.
• Promote compliance with company/client policies, safety requirements, and regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Travel between the Brampton locations as required until operations have fully transitioned to the Caledon site.

• Assist the client with selecting, onboarding, and training security staff prior to contract launch.

• Support the setup and implementation of security operations at both locations.

• Assist with post orders, site procedures, staff expectations, and overall operational readiness.

• Help establish the vision, culture, and standards for the security team.

• Provide general support to ensure a successful contract start-up and transition.

• Promote compliance with company and customer policies, health and safety requirements, regulatory obligations, and client standards while working effectively across diverse teams and cultures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License and valid First Aid and CPR certification and Smart Service Certification or be willing to obtain.

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of supervisory experience in a security environment. Preferably in a manufacturing setting.

• Demonstrated knowledge of applicable Ontario legislation, regulations, industry standards, and regulatory requirements affecting property protection and the delivery of security guard services.

• Working knowledge of security operations, including access control, patrols, alarm and CCTV monitoring, emergency response, incident management, workplace violence prevention, investigations within assigned authority, and protection of people and property.

• Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands, exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and follow issues through to resolution.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and electronic workforce, reporting, and security management systems.
