Job summary

Pagnotta Inc. is a family‑run organization in Western Canada seeking a safety professional to ensure compliance with safety policies at project sites.

This role blends fieldwork with administrative planning and requires hands‑on site activity. You will conduct site inspections, lead toolbox talks, support return‑to‑work programs, and document safety performance while collaborating with superintendents and field crews.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a field safety role, ideally in commercial construction.
• CSTS 2020 certification.
• First Aid certification.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site safety inspections and hazard assessments.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and on-site safety orientations.
• Support modified duties/return-to-work programs.
• Recommend and help implement corrective actions.
• Assist with crane lift and fall protection planning.
• Maintain compliance with emergency response planning.
• Lead and document incident investigations.
• Develop safe work practices and job procedures.
• Keep accurate safety statistics and assist with COR audits.
• Verify operator certifications and equipment inspection logs.
• Provide coaching to supervisors on safety legislation and company procedures.
• Conduct internal safety training where qualified.
• Attend project and client safety meetings as required.

2+ years field safety experience
