We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team on a 16-month term. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in enterprise application support, infrastructure monitoring, database administration, and ETL processes. You will be instrumental in ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of our enterprise platforms and integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day operational support for enterprise applications, integrations, and services
Perform database administration and optimization tasks, primarily on Microsoft SQL Server
Monitor system performance and availability across Windows and Linux servers
Maintain and improve infrastructure monitoring tools and dashboards
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis
Automate manual processes using PowerShell and/or Python scripting
Support and enhance ETL workflows, especially those built with SSIS and Dell Boomi
Collaborate with development teams to improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub
Ensure systems are secure, reliable, and compliant with organizational policies
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer or Application support role
Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including maintenance and troubleshooting
Proficient in Windows and Linux server environments
Solid hands-on experience with PowerShell and Python scripting for automation
Demonstrated experience supporting and troubleshooting .NET web applications
Deep understanding of ETL concepts and hands-on experience with SSIS and Dell Boomi
Familiarity with Azure DevOps and GitHub for CI/CD and source control
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communicator and team player
