We are hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to work on next-generation operations at scale, utilizing pure Python infra-as-code, from bare metal to containers and applications. Our goal is to perfect enterprise infrastructure devops.

Our team manages hundreds of private cloud, Kubernetes, and application clusters for global customers, embracing automation and model-driven operations to push the boundaries of what is possible.

To succeed, you should see automation as a software engineering problem, be interested in the scientific approach to operations at scale driven by metrics and code, and be willing to learn the entire stack, from networking and kernels to serverless and open source applications.

Location : Globally remote role

The role entails

Our cloud operations engineers bring Python skills and rigor to the operations domain, practicing devsecops from bare metal to applications. We architect and manage OpenStack, Kubernetes, and software-defined storage, enabling devsecops for applications on that infrastructure.

Requirements include being a software engineer fluent in Python, interested in the full open source infrastructure stack, and capable of working in high-pressure environments with mission-critical services for global clients.

As part of the team, you will gain experience with various cloud technologies, stay current with open source infrastructure advancements, and contribute to upgrading solutions for our customers.

What we are looking for in you

  • Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science
  • Experience with Linux, networking, and storage
  • Operational experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability
  • Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for up to two weeks

Nice-to-have skills

  • Experience with OpenStack or Kubernetes deployment / operations
  • Familiarity with cloud management (public or private)
