Job summary

Blackstone Energy Services Inc. is seeking a Project Site Coordinator to support medium- to large-scale institutional decarbonization and energy retrofit projects in Ontario.

This role is site-based, coordinating on-site operations, documentation, schedules, budgets, and safety compliance under the direction of the Project Manager and Construction Manager. The position requires a valid driver’s license and daily site access in St Catharines, ON, with five days on-site travel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Systems, Controls, Construction Management, or related field.
• Entry-level experience (co-op, internship, 1–3 years) in construction or energy projects is a plus.
• Exposure to mechanical/electrical/controls systems in institutional or industrial environments preferred.
• Experience with Procore construction management software is an asset.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a willingness to learn.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with construction documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support on-site construction management activities for retrofit projects.
• Coordinate on-site operations, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives under PM/CM guidance.
• Provide administrative and coordination support during procurement activities and document control.
• Track project progress, schedules, and budgets and escalate issues as needed.
• Support safety, quality, and schedule compliance throughout construction.
• Coordinate scope changes and cost impacts with senior staff guidance.
• Collaborate with design through construction to ensure alignment with drawings.
• Maintain project documentation and assist with meeting minutes, reporting, and materials.
• Attend meetings and assist with after-hours or weekend construction activities when required.
• Support health & safety policies and client requirements on assigned projects.
