Job summary

Securitas Canada is hiring a Site Manager - Gatineau to maintain a secure environment at private facilities. You will lead shifts, supervise guards, and ensure post orders are followed, rounds completed, and accurate reports filed.

Strong bilingual communication and supervisory skills are essential. The role offers a Monday to Friday, 0700-1500 schedule (40 hours/week), with a full benefits package after 3 months, pension, paid sick days after 12 months, and free uniforms.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in English and French.
• Eligible for Secret Clearance (Canadian citizenship and 10 years residency).
• Valid Quebec Security Guard License (BSP) and ASP certificate are required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of supervisory practices and ability to motivate teams.
• Ability to manage schedules and adapt to changes.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties of a Security Guard per post orders and policy.
• Provide lead direction at client sites; ensure rounds and reports are completed.
• Counsel and discipline personnel as needed; coordinate with management.
• Assist in training Security Guards and review post orders.
• Assist payroll and personnel information submission.
• Ensure adequate security coverage and meet client needs.
• Prepare, file and submit reports; engage with client representatives.

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated individual to ensure the safety and security of Private facilities. As a Site Manager - Gatineau, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through various tasks and duties such as:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs the duties of a Security Guard in accord with post orders and company policy.
• Provides lead direction at assigned client site(s) on assigned shift(s); acts to ensure that post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that adequate reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
• May counsel and discipline personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents counseling and disciplinary actions.
• Assists in the training of Security Guards and review of post orders.
• Assists in the submission of payroll and personnel information to the company as designated.
• In conjunction with company management or designated company representatives acts to ensure adequate security coverage of all posts.
• Prepares, files and submits various reports as required.
• Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be Bilingual (English and French).
• Applicants must be eligible to receive a Secret Clearance (Eligibility for Secret Clearance include a Canadian citizenship and a minimum of 10 years residency in Canada is required).
• Have a valid Quebec Security Guard License (BSP)
• Have a valid ASP certificate
• Have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.
• Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance.
• Ability to track and maintain schedule assignments.
• Understanding of a variety of security and safety devices and controls.
• Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization.
