Job summary

Toronto-Community-Housing is seeking a Site Lead to manage a youth program for ages 6–12. You will supervise program staff, oversee site operations, plan weekly activities and maintain an inclusive, welcoming environment where every participant feels supported.

The role requires 18+ years, post-secondary education in a relevant field, and experience supervising staff. VSC and First Aid are required or to be obtained before starting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Post-secondary education in Community Development, Social Work, Child and Youth Work, Sports Management/Development or related field.
• Experience supervising and coaching staff in recreational settings.
• Experience working with parents and other stakeholders.
• Cleared Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) and First Aid qualifications, or willingness to obtain prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program site and staff, manage participants, operations and programming quality and safety.
• Conduct daily audits to ensure plans are followed and adjust to staff/participant needs.
• Assign daily tasks to staff and provide coaching to ensure standards are met.
• Oversee petty cash and purchasing of supplies.
• Coordinate community events with facilitators and guest speakers.
• Prepare progress reports and action plans for the Program Coordinator.
