Job summary

Morson Edge (Canada) seeks an experienced Site Environmental Lead to support pipeline projects across Northern British Columbia. You will report to the Environmental Manager in Prince George and ensure environmental compliance, support field operations, and liaise with regulators throughout the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on pipeline environment experience, strong knowledge of BC regulations, and the ability to work in remote, camp-based conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience as Environmental Lead/Coordinator/Advisor on pipeline or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong working knowledge of British Columbia environmental regulations.
• Experience interacting with regulatory agencies and regulators.
• Demonstrated experience working on pipeline projects.
• Strong field-based environmental compliance experience.
• Ability to work independently in remote and camp-based environments.
• Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental leadership and support at active pipeline project sites.
• Ensure field activities comply with BC environmental regulations, permits, and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies, inspectors, and other external stakeholders as required.
• Monitor environmental performance and identify potential compliance issues or risks.
• Support environmental inspections, reporting, documentation, and incident investigations.
• Work closely with construction and project teams to implement environmental protection measures.
• Provide guidance to field personnel on environmental requirements and best practices.
• Prepare and maintain environmental reports and records.
• Escalate environmental concerns and compliance issues to the Environmental Manager.
• Support the overall environmental management strategy for pipeline construction and operations.

Work Arrangement: 14 days on / 7 days off (FIFO)

Employment Type: Contract or Permanent

Hourly Rate: $90 - $120/hour
