Dagmar, a subsidiary of Bird Construction, is a leading contractor specializing in civil projects across Ontario, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality roads, bridges, transit, utilities, and public works.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Clerk, you will play a key administrative role on a high-profile infrastructure project in Toronto. Working closely with the site leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate timekeeping, onboarding coordination, and daily reporting, while supporting overall site operations with a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail.

This position is in downtown Toronto.

What you’ll be working on:

  • Track and record daily labour and equipment usage on-site.
  • Maintain up-to-date logs to support accurate reporting and billing.
  • Coordinate with field supervisors to verify labour and equipment allocations.
  • Accurately prepare and reconcile timesheets from field submissions.
  • Input timekeeping data into SAP and other systems.
  • Maintain organized records of timesheets, hours worked, and crew lists.
  • Process documentation for new hires and terminations in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and distribute daily force reports and swipe access timecards reports.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies, placing orders as needed.
  • Support the site team with additional administrative duties and reporting requirements as assigned.

What we are looking for:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business administration or a related field is an asset.
  • 3+ years in an administrative role in a construction or field base environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships across a diverse team.
  • A proactive mindset with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
