Job summary

Langan is seeking an Intern/Co-op – Site/Civil Engineering to join its Calgary, AB team. This role supports site feasibility studies, field work, and design documentation, pairing students with industry leaders on a variety of land development projects.

You will assist with planning, design, permitting, reports and plans using AutoCAD/Civil 3D and MS Office, gain hands-on experience, and develop skills in surveying, calculations, and documentation while collaborating in a supportive,

Qualifications

• Student actively pursuing a four year or advanced degree in Civil Engineering.
• GPA 3.0 or greater preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, design and permitting of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and modify reports, plans, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Assess soil, terrain, hydrological data and topographical/geologic information for planning and design.
• Support zoning, ordinance and permit assessments and feasibility analyses.
• Provide field inspection services, as needed.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks.
• Perform other duties as requested.
