Job summary

Woodfibre Management Ltd. is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations and maintenance of on-site buildings, infrastructure, and systems at the Woodfibre LNG Project site near Squamish, BC.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will supervise maintenance staff and contractors, ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and cost control, and contribute to continuous improvement across 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson trade certification or equivalent facilities experience.
• 5–7 years of industrial facilities management experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a high-hazard facility.
• Strong SAP proficiency.
• Understanding of BC regulatory environment.
• 2-3 years Safety leadership in high-risk environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of standards and work practices for facilities.
• Supervise maintenance of onsite buildings and facilities.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire, security) operate safely.
• Oversee contractor and vendor management on site.
• Monitor safety compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Support budgets, costing and lifecycle planning.
