Job summary

Cardel Homes is seeking a Site Assistant to maintain a clean, safe construction site for homeowners and tradespeople across Alberta communities. You will ensure safety, prepare sites for trades, perform minor carpentry, and help maintain signage throughout the build process.

This physically demanding role involves outdoor work in all weather conditions, with accessibility accommodations available on request. Previous construction exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic construction knowledge: building technology, processes, materials.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with initiative and flexibility.
• Time management, multitasking, punctual, and organized.
• Valid Alberta Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Ensure site safety.
• Provide new residential site clean-up.
• Prepare site for trades.
• Complete minor carpentry tasks.
• Help to maintain signage during the construction process.
• Assess & remove hazard on work sits.
