The Blueprint :

The Site Administrator Student role will have a unique opportunity to work closely with our experienced Site Coordinator on an active construction site. You will play a vital role in providing administrative support to the construction management team. Your organizational prowess, effective communication skills, attention to detail, and computer literacy will contribute to the efficient functioning of the site's administrative operations. This role offers a dynamic learning environment where you'll gain hands-on experience while assisting the site supervisory staff in various administrative functions.

A Glimpse into your Daily Activities:

  • Support the Site Coordinator with purchase orders for material suppliers.
  • Assist with the maintenance of current records of drawings and consultant revision notices.
  • Complete daily journal entries.
  • Answer telephones and assist in communication with the large group of contractors and consultants.
  • Assist the site management staff with clerical duties.
  • Ensure the site office remains organized.
  • Assist with the maintenance and organization of files for all purchasers' suite customization and colour choices.
  • Print and distribute colours and purchase agreements to trades on site.
  • Print and distribute deficiencies for Trades to complete.
  • Enter completions on V-team.
  • Assist with the completion of deficiencies using the purchaser request system.

The Architect of Your Success:

  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education or community college, ideally pursuing a related field (e.g., construction engineering technology). Alternatively, a suitable combination of education and relevant industry experience will be considered.
  • A strong commitment to delivering a high-quality product and maintaining project excellence.
  • Organizational skills and a proven track record of effectively managing tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to engage with various stakeholders.
  • A high level of computer literacy, including proficiency in relevant software and tools.
