Job summary

Western University seeks a Program Coordinator (Simulated Patient Educator) to design, coordinate, and administer simulation events for Schulich Medicine & Dentistry. The role collaborates with faculty and course chairs across the Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs, including SP training and OSCEs.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, 4 years in adult education, and strong skills in feedback, communication, and project management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline required.
  • 4 years of experience in Adult Education required; teaching experience preferred.
  • Experience in an Experiential Learning environment; preferably with Simulated Patients.
  • Experience in giving directed, communication skills feedback required.
  • Experience with large project management and providing administrative support independently and proactively required.

Responsibilities

  • Design, coordinate, and administer simulation events for Schulich programs.
  • Collaborate with course chairs, faculty, and staff to plan SP sessions and OSCE events.
  • Function as SP trainer and site administrator for large-scale exams.
  • Plan and administer all educational and evaluative programs under the CSLP.
  • Provide administrative support and ensure accuracy of documentation and reports.
