On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking a SimCorp Business Analyst – PBOR to configure and support Fund Administration and Financial Accounting modules in SimCorp Dimension. The role involves ensuring compliance with PBOR processes and regulatory standards, supporting investment finance and NAV reporting, translating business requirements into system solutions, and resolving issues through root cause analysis. Collaboration across investment operations is essential to optimize workflows and deliver clear documentation and stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and Configure SimCorp Performance Manager:
- Lead configuration, customization, and optimization of SimCorp Performance Manager to meet business needs.
- Ensure accurate calculation of performance metrics across portfolios.
- Support performance measurement, attribution, and reporting functions with expert knowledge of investment performance.
- Validate data accuracy and resolve discrepancies with data and operations teams.
Work with Multi-Asset Class Instruments:- Apply understanding of financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives, etc.) for proper configuration and interpretation.
Collaborate with Technology and Investment Teams:- Support system enhancements, testing, and deployment within a multi-asset class investment firm.
- Act as liaison between investment teams, IT, and vendors to ensure aligned requirements.
Enhance System Workflows and Automation:- Contribute to workflow orchestration and runbooks supporting production schedules within SimCorp.
Integrate and Support Cross-Platform Solutions:- Assist with system integrations (e.g., Charles River, Aladdin, Calypso, Bloomberg) to ensure data flow and reporting performance.
Utilize DevOps Practices for Delivery:- Support system delivery and configuration management via Azure DevOps pipelines and tools.
Document and Communicate Effectively:- Prepare documentation for configurations, processes, and methodologies.
- Communicate findings, updates, and risks clearly to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of expert knowledge in Investment Performance.
- 3+ years hands-on experience with SimCorp Performance Manager.
- 3+ years working knowledge of Financial Instruments.
- 2+ years experience within a technology/solution team at a multi-asset class investment manager.
- 1+ year working knowledge of Azure DevOps.
- 3+ years experience with asset management solutions like Charles River, Aladdin, Calypso, Bloomberg.
- 3+ years knowledge of SimCorp workflows, orchestration, and production runbooks.
