Job summary

West Fraser is seeking a Silviculture Supervisor to lead reforestation activities and ensure safe, compliant execution of plans across field operations in Alberta.

The role reports to the Silviculture Superintendent and requires coordination with the Silviculture team and other departments to deliver efficient, sustainable forest management results. A strong emphasis on safety, leadership, and regulatory compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• A forestry, natural resources, or relevant degree or diploma.
• A Registered Professional Forester (RPF) or Registered Professional Forest Technologist (RPFT) designation for Alberta (or be eligible and willing to earn this designation).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proven organizational skills, and a willingness to learn and undertake new challenges.
• Proven Leadership experience.
• Knowledge of ArcMap, MS Office, iPads, and GPS will be considered an asset.

Responsibilities
