Spectrum Resource Group is hiring a Silviculture Crew Lead for the 2027 spring season. The role reports to the Silviculture Supervisor and offers full-time status with a 10 days on / 4 days off cycle. The position includes travel, accommodations when away from home, and comprehensive training.

Key duties include payroll & production tracking, safety compliance, and directing crew activities in field operations. A strong forestry background and supervisory experience are preferred.

Formación

• 2–3 years forestry-related experience.
• Post-secondary education in natural resources, forestry or related field is an asset.
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License and a current Driver’s Abstract.
• Experience operating ATVs and pickup trucks is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Plan daily and weekly production and logistics for the team.
• Ensure a safe and productive working environment, including equipment inspection and maintenance.
• Lead and direct team to safely complete camp setup, maintenance and tear down.
• Train new staff to safely perform all job functions.
• Support field duties and assist with boundary/road layout and ecotype identification.
