Overview

Support a Fortune 500 Aero-Defense Company as a Siemens NX Engineer.

Seeking an Engineer Technologist to join our Naval weapon systems team in Louisville, Kentucky.

Base pay range

$72.00/yr - $76.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of ROMs, BOE and quoting.
• Plan manufacturing production schedules in accordance with the production timeline.
• Analyze complex problems to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.
• Plan, execute, and manage complex projects to ensure on-time, high-quality results.
• Program and/or design using Siemens NX for machining operations.
• Support Capital Project management and the implementation of new equipment or factory setups.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, verbally and in writing.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in a relevant technical discipline (engineering or technology).
• Deep knowledge of machining processes, equipment, tooling, and materials.
• Proficiency in Siemens NX software for design and programming of machining operations.
• Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
• Ability to plan, execute, and manage complex projects with on-time, high-quality results.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures, inspection requirements, and relevant industry standards.
• Able to plan manufacturing production schedules in accordance with production timeline.
• Experience leading ROMs, BOE, and quoting.
• Experience with Capital Project management and implementation of new equipment and/or factory setups.
• Defense Contracting Experience (preferred).
• Ability to program multiple head configurations (preferred).
• 10+ years in a machining and manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Capable of programming complex 3, 4, and 5 axis mills, and multi-axis lathes (preferred).
• Knowledge of writing and editing Post Processors (preferred).
• Program/Project management experience; PMP a plus (preferred).
