Job summary

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the CNC Programmer will be responsible for reviewing customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements to develop efficient machining strategies and detailed process plans. This individual will create solid models and advanced toolpaths using Mastercam, verify programs through simulation software, and optimize machining operations to achieve cycle time, setup, and tooling objectives. The role also involves creating, editing, and proving out CNC programs for milling and multi-axis machining applications while ensuring the highest standards of precision and quality.

This individual will create solid models and advanced toolpaths using Mastercam, verify programs through simulation software, and optimize machining operations to achieve cycle time, setup, and tooling objectives. The role also involves creating, editing, and proving out CNC programs for milling and multi-axis machining applications while ensuring the highest standards of precision and quality. Our ideal candidate will possess extensive CNC machining and programming experience, including advanced proficiency with Mastercam and familiarity with simulation software such as Vericut or NC Simulator. A strong understanding of machining processes, manufacturing standards, GD&T, inspection methodologies, and precision measurement techniques is essential. Experience with Siemens 840D and Heidenhain controls, spindle probe programming, and advanced multi-axis machining environments will be considered strong assets.
