Job summary

Flynn Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Side Loader Forklift Operator to support our Vancouver manufacturing shop. This full-time, on-site role runs Monday-Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:15 PM, with 8 hours paid per day.

The ideal candidate has recent side loader experience in a manufacturing setting and can operate safely and efficiently. Qualifications include 3-4 years of side loader experience, a valid forklift certification, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong English

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-4 years of recent experience operating a side loader forklift.
• Manufacturing environment experience.
• Valid forklift operator certification/license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Must live locally.
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
• Experience with inventory tracking, scanning, or materials handling documentation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a side loader forklift and move large modular wall panel systems.
• Move and transport materials within the Vancouver shop.
• Load and unload as required and maintain accurate tracking and documentation.
• Coordinate with a second operator to ensure smooth workflow.
• Follow safety checklists and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

This is a newly created full-time position to support growing production volume. We are specifically seeking candidates with recent, hands-on side loader experience in a manufacturing environment. This position is Monday-Friday from 6am-2:15pm (Paid for 8h/day).

Side Loader Forklift Operator

$30-$35/h | Full-time | On-site

Day in the Life

• Safely operate a side loader forklift with custom attachments
• Move and transport large modular wall panel systems
• Remove completed units from the assembly line and load onto shipping racks
• Work closely with another operator
• Complete all safety checklists, documentation, and tracking accurately and on time
• Scan and track modules
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Identify and report hazards or unsafe conditions

Requirements

• Minimum 3-4 years of recent experience operating a side loader forklift
• Manufacturing environment experience
• Valid forklift operator certification/license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Proficient English communication skills
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Must live locally
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle
• Experience with inventory tracking, scanning, or materials handling documentation
