Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-3 years retail sales experience with power tools or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
• Able to perform in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and adaptability.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Analytical ability to extract insights from data and reports to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing the Atlas Experience from entry.
• Identify customer needs by listening and asking thoughtful questions, making product recommendations.
• Provide expert product knowledge and guide customers toward informed choices.
• Drive sales through suggestive selling and product expertise.
• Direct customers with specialized needs to the Industrial Sales Team for additional solutions.
• Participate in product training sessions with vendors, peers, and self-directed learning.
• Inform customers about warranties and assist with related questions.
• Stay informed on promotions, flyers, and seasonal events.
• Maintain a tidy, organized, and fully merchandised department and sales floor.
• Assist with inventory management, stock levels, and timely merchandising.
• Proactively manage stock and backorders to ensure product availability.
• Foster a safe and respectful work environment and align with company policies.
