Andrew Sheret Limited's PARKSVILLE branch is seeking a full-time Showroom Sales Consultant to assist customers and close sales in our kitchen and bath showroom. You will guide product choices, present features, and ensure a positive experience for homeowners shopping fixtures such as bathtubs, sinks, and faucets.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 is required, post-secondary education is an asset.
• Retail/Sales experience and strong communication are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and use a POS system.

Responsibilities

Our retail branches are Splashes Bath & Kitchen, helping homeowners that are looking to find beautiful fixtures such as bathtubs, sinks, faucets, toilets and showers.

As a Showroom Consultant at Splashes Kitchen and Bath, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to customers visiting our showroom. You will assist them in selecting products, and making purchasing decisions related to kitchen and bath projects. Your role will involve a combination of sales, consultations, and customer service to ensure a positive experience for our customers.

Wage range is $21.60-$24.00 per hour, plus commission and wages may be scaled with relevant experience and/or education.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create a welcoming environment by greeting all customers
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring the customer takes priority
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster repeat business and referrals
• Maximize sales opportunities to achieve store targets
• Maintain consistent visual merchandising and housekeeping standards at all timesPresent product features, specifications, pricing, and warranty information accurately and persuasively
• Ensure adherence to operating and security procedures at all times
• Process cash transactions
• Keep product knowledge up to date and remain current with trends
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls
• Execute opening and closing procedures

Essential:

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills and the ability to use a point-of-sale system

• Previous retail/sales experience
• Completion of Grade 12 required
