Qualifications

About the Role

The Showroom Decorator plays a vital role in creating an inviting and visually appealing environment that enhances the customer experience and drives sales. Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in interior decorating, visual merchandising, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of design principles, color theory, and spatial arrangement.
  • Ability to lift and move display materials and products as required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education or certification in interior design, visual merchandising, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working in retail or showroom environments.
  • Familiarity with current design trends and customer preferences in the Canadian market.
  • Proficiency with design software or digital tools for layout planning.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation

The starting rate for this position is $18.20/hr.
