Overview:

Greenhouse is seeking part‑time and full‑time Shopkeepers to join our retail team! A Shopkeeper is responsible for assisting in the day‑to‑day operations and financial success of their location. You model and uphold Greenhouse’s core values in every interaction, whether with customers, fellow team members or management alike.

Shopkeepers Responsibilities Include:

• Provide sincere and courteous customer service; educate customers on our brand, products, and services
• Have a thorough understanding of daily operational requirements; work as an active member of the team to accomplish tasks and achieve sales goals
• Build a healthy rapport with customers; strive to gain customer and brand loyalty
• Assist in minimizing waste and reducing losses at store level; safe cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness of store; perform additional visual merchandising and maintenance procedures
• Understand and take ownership of performance indicated for sales and services

Health & Safety:

• Maintain all COVID‑19 Health & Safety regulations and follow all pertinent guidelines (i.e. PPE requirements and in‑store capacity) for the safety of yourself, staff, and the community
• Uphold cleanliness and consistent sanitizing procedures in place at all times to meet Health and Safety protocols

Physical Requirements:

• Continually able to stand for extended periods of time to provide floor coverage and customer service
• Ability to regularly perform store maintenance: sweep, empty trash, clean
• Ability to safely lift boxes up to 50 lbs

Annual Compensation Range: $18.25 CAD per hour
