Job summary

the company is seeking a Shopify Plus Web Developer to build, scale, and maintain enterprise-grade e-commerce experiences using modern Shopify Plus capabilities. The role emphasizes collaboration, standards, and scalable release pipelines within a hybrid Toronto office schedule.

You will work with Shopify Functions, Markets, Checkout Extensibility, and data models to deliver performant storefronts while aligning with engineering practices and peer reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify Plus themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with Shopify Functions for discounts, shipping, cart transformations, and payment customization.
• Strong understanding of GitHub environments, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and guidance on Shopify Plus web development.
• Review requirements to design scalable, performant storefronts.
• Collaborate with product, design, UX, QA, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality experiences.
• Mentor junior team members and promote good engineering practices.
