Nors in Edmonton, Alberta, is hiring a Shop Technician - Lead Hand. You will assist the Service Supervisor with day-to-day planning, diagnose and repair crane equipment, and perform hands-on shop tasks. You’ll also coach apprentices and uphold safety and quality standards.
The role is unionized, full-time, permanent, with a competitive package including health and dental, and RRSP. Red Seal certification and 2–5 years crane experience are required.

What’s the challenge?
As our Lead Hand, you’ll play an important role in helping the Service Supervisor with day‑to‑day planning, organization, and workflow. You’ll take on major Crane diagnostics and repairs, and be hands‑on with daily shop repairs. You’re counted on to provide top‑quality leadership and service, while following the company’s established policies and procedures. In this role, you’ll also help develop and coach apprentices.
