Job summary

Weir Group in Lively, ON is seeking a Shop Labourer to join our onsite manufacturing team. You will perform general labor, housekeeping, and support quality and maintenance tasks in a heavy industrial environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, attention to detail, and ability to read/write English. Starting pay is $21.00 per hour with potential increases; benefits include health/dental/vision, RRSP, and 15 days PTO plus stat holidays.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a labour role or heavy industrial setting preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend English at an advanced level.

  • Quality assurance: Conduct routine quality checks and verify standards are met.
  • Maintenance reporting: Identify and report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
  • Daily role: Perform general labor duties with attention to detail and multi-tasking.
