Weir in Lively, ON is seeking a Shop Labourer for full-time onsite work on day shift M-TH 6:00 AM-3:00 PM and Friday 5:00 AM-1:00 PM. Starting hourly pay is $21.00 with opportunity for performance-based increases.
You will maintain a clean shop, conduct quality checks, report maintenance needs, perform general labor with attention to detail, and support a zero-harm safety culture. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior labour or heavy industrial experience; English literacy

Work Arrangement: Onsite, Full Time
Shift: Day Shift 6:00 AM- 3:OOPM (Monday- Thursday)
Friday Shift: 5:00 AM- 1:00 PM

General Housekeeping : Maintain a clean and organized shop environment by sweeping, picking up trash, and putting materials away to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
Quality Assurance: Conduct routine quality checks by verifying cleanliness and safety standards are consistently met throughout the facilities.
Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly to the appropriate personnel to support operational continuity.
Daily Role: Perform general labor duties with attention to detail, multitasking effectively, and prioritizing tasks to meet daily operational needs.

High School diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a labour role or heavy industrial setting
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to read, write, and comprehend English at an advanced level
Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Experience working day shifts with flexibility for overtime
Familiarity with safety protocols in industrial environments
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
