Job summary

OpenRoad Audi Boundary in Burnaby is hiring a Shop Helper to join the Service department. The role offers full-time hours and a competitive wage. You will provide shuttle services, help maintain a clean service area, and assist technicians with basic tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient shuttle service for clients to and from the dealership.
• Maintain cleanliness of the service department and lot.
• Wash and vacuum vehicles after service repair.
• Greet customers professionally and direct them to the right personnel for assistance.
• Keep the department tidy and free from clutter at all times.
• Assist technicians with basic mechanical tasks, including tire mounting.
• Follow safety policies and report accidents to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide safe and efficient shuttle service for clients to and from the dealership
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the service department and lot.
• Washing andvacuuming vehicles after service repair.
• Greeting customers with a professional manner.
• Directing customers to the right personnel for further assistance.
• Ensuring department is free from clutter and is kept tidy and clean at all times.
• Assist Technician upon request in basic mechanical tasks up to and including using a tire machine.
• Follow company safety policies and practices, and immediately, report any and all accidents to a Manager/Supervisor.
• This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Able to work effectively with Service Advisors, Parts Advisors, and Technicians
• Possess a valid British Columbia Driver's License, ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission, and present a current copy of your driver's abstract (ICBC driver's record) for review.
