Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a shop, wash bay, or equipment cleaning is an asset but not required.
• Physically fit and able to handle repetitive tasks, lifting, and outdoor work in varying conditions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license preferred; safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, CSTS, First Aid) are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate wash bay equipment to clean trucks, trailers, and heavy machinery.
• Assist mechanics with parts cleaning, tool organization, and basic shop duties.
• Maintain shop and yard cleanliness, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Perform basic inspections on equipment to confirm readiness after cleaning.
• Handle pressure washing, degreasing, and other cleaning procedures safely.
• Report hazards, equipment concerns, or safety incidents promptly.
• Support shop operations as needed, including inventory handling and equipment movement.
• Participate in safety meetings and comply with all company safety standards.
