Goudy transport is seeking a Shop hand/Mechanics Helper to join our Stoughton, SK team. The ideal candidate will contribute to diagnosing mechanical issues and performing repairs on heavy equipment, including semi trucks and trailers, while maintaining accurate service records.

Strong automotive repair background, detail-oriented, and reliable in a fast-paced setting; ability to work independently or with a team is required to support timely project completion and high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience in inspection, diagnosis, repair and service of heavy duty trucks and trailers.
• Strong background in automotive repair or related fields is preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with management and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues in heavy equipment, including Semi trucks, trailers, and other related equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Assemble and disassemble components as needed for repairs or upgrades.

Goudy transport is a thriving family owned company, operating primarily in the southeast Saskatchewan oilfield. We are seeking a skilled Shop hand/Mechanics Helper to join our team in Stoughton. The ideal candidate will possess some knowledge and expertise in the repair and maintenance of various types of heavy machinery, live in/around Stoughton, willing to relocate or reliable commute. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, ability to follow instruction and excellent time management.
