Job summary

Policaro Group, a luxury automotive retailer in the GTA and Southern Ontario, seeks a Shop Foreman to lead a high-performance service team handling premium brands. You will diagnose, repair, and supervise daily shop operations to ensure top-tier service and customer satisfaction.

You will mentor technicians, coordinate workflow with service advisors, and drive safety and quality standards across the department.

Qualifications

• Proven automotive technician experience
• Knowledge of premium brand vehicles is an asset
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems
• Excellent problem solving and attention to detail
• Self-motivated with goal-oriented mindset
• Valid driver's license required
• 310S certification and license required

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles, ensuring top-tier performance and safety
• Oversee daily shop operations and coordinate workflow to maximize efficiency
• Mentor technicians and provide technical guidance
• Communicate with service advisors to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Provide technical guidance and support for complex diagnostics
• Assist technicians with challenging repairs
• Support the Service Manager with technician performance and development
• Promote a safe, compliant, and high-quality work environment

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles, ensuring top-tier performance and safety
• Perform routine services including oil changes, brake jobs, tire rotations, and system checks
• Utilize diagnostic tools and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues efficiently
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members to deliver a seamless customer experience
• Provide technical guidance, support, and mentorship to technicians to ensure quality repairs
• Oversee daily shop operations and help coordinate workflow to maximize efficiency and productivity
• Assist technicians with complex diagnostics and challenging repairs
• Support the Service Manager with technician performance, training, and development

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in automotive technician (premium luxury is an asset)
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated, ambitious, and goal-oriented mindset
• Valid drivers license
• 310S certification and license
