Qualifications

• Successful completion of the security clearance process required under the Federal Government Contract Security Program.
• Minimum 5 years of continuous residence in Canada with no interruption longer than 6 consecutive months.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, adjust, and fasten mechanical components related to piping, ventilation, HVAC, and marine mechanics.
• Perform pressure tests and adjust mechanical equipment.
• Actively participate in the commissioning of systems aboard ships.

Skills

Knowledge of heavy machinery

Pipefitting

Ability to read plans and work orders

Operation of forklifts or trucks

Education

DEP in Heavy Machinery, Marine Mechanics, or Plumbing-Heating
