Job summary

Roofmart, Canada’s national distributor for exterior building supply, invites applicants for the role of Shipper and Receiver in Kingston, Ontario. You will safely load/unload, move, ship and receive products while supporting insulation fabrication and metal shop tasks as needed.

The position requires forklift experience and the ability to lift 80-100 lbs. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered, including health, dental and vision coverage, RRSP matching, paid vacation,

Qualifications

• Valid Forklift License (training can be provided).
• Ability to lift, push and carry 80-100 lbs.
• Previous Shipping and Receiving Experience.
• Customer service skills.
• Previous Warehouse and Forklift Experience - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, move, ship and receive product.
• Ensure orders are picked correctly, tagged, and double checked.
• Assist as required with tapered insulation fabrication.
• Assist as required with metal shop operations.
• Comply with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation.
• Other duties as required.
