Job summary

Schaeffler Aerospace Canada Inc. is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Associate for our Stratford warehouse to support aerospace supply chains and maintain accurate documentation.

You will conduct handling tasks to move products, load and unload trucks, store packages, deconsolidate and re-pack items, and prepare deliveries for drivers. Forklift operation and cross-training in logistics are expected.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Forklift license – willing to train and achieve.
• Attention to detail.
• Willing to cross-train in logistics/shipping and receiving.

Responsibilities

• Move products and bulks between locations, or support loading of trucks.
• Load and unload trucks; complete and sign documentation.
• Store filled packages and prepacked products in the warehouse.
• Deconsolidate, re-pack, store, retrieve and execute internal transports.
• Pick, pack and label materials such as raw materials, components, finished goods.
• Prepare deliveries of products for drivers.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Conduct handling tasks to move products, packages or bulks from one place to another, or to support the loading of trucks.


• Execute loading and unloading of trucks, fill out and sign respective documentation.


• Store filled packages and prepacked products in the warehouse.


• Deconsolidate, re-pack, store, retrieve and execute internal transports.


• Pick, pack and label e.g. raw material, components, semi-finished-products, finished products, trading goods etc..


• Prepare deliveries of products / tours for drivers.

Your Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma


• Must have a valid drivers license


• fork lift license - must be willing to train and achieve


• Must have exceptional attention to detail


• must be willing and able to cross-train in all aspects of the Logistics department (shipping, receiving, inventory)


• Must have ability to communicate with both written and Microsoft office skills (email/teams)
