Job summary

Flex-N-Gate is seeking a customer service coordinator in Canada to ensure customer requirements are met and release information is relayed to manufacturing accurately.

You will maintain portals, coordinate with shipping, and support a fast-paced production environment. The role requires strong organization and teamwork. This position offers benefits and growth opportunities within a respected automotive supplier.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of customer service experience in manufacturing or a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a team with customer-focused orientation; supervisory experience a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with database apps and MS Office.
• Experience with automotive customer portals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Address customer issues.
• Generate daily load sheets and requirement listings.
• Monitor all Customer Portals.
• Ensure adequate supply of containers through weekly inventories.
• Monitor dock activities and shippers/receivers.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and instructions.
• Shift work; days and afternoons.

Job Duties

• Responsible for addressing any customers issues
• Generates daily load sheets and requirement listing
• Monitors all Customer Portals
• Ensure adequate supply of containers through weekly inventories
• Monitor activities on the dock and activities of the shippers/receivers
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and instructions
• Must be able to work shift work; days and afternoons

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2-3 years related experience in customer service activities in a manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well in a team with customer-focused orientation and strong sense of delivery. Supervisory experience would be an asset
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office
• Must have previous experience working with automotive customer portals
