Job summary

Flex-N-Gate is seeking a Shipping / Logistics Customer Service Coordinator to ensure customer requirements are met and release information is relayed to manufacturing accurately and on time.

The role emphasizes strong organization, communication, and teamwork to monitor portals, manage load sheets, and maintain supply levels on a daily basis. On-site duties include shift work for days and afternoons.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years related experience in customer service in manufacturing or fast-paced env.
• Experience with automotive customer portals is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Address customer issues promptly and professionally.
• Generate daily load sheets and requirement listings.
• Monitor all customer portals for updates and status.
• Ensure adequate supply of containers through weekly inventories.
• Monitor dock activities and shipper/receiver operations.
• Follow company policies, procedures and instructions.
• Must be able to work shift work (days and afternoons).

Job Duties

• Responsible for addressing any customers issues
• Generates daily load sheets and requirement listing
• Monitors all Customer Portals
• Ensure adequate supply of containers through weekly inventories
• Monitor activities on the dock and activities of the shippers/receivers
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and instructions
• Must be able to work shift work; days and afternoons

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2-3 years related experience in customer service activities in a manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well in a team with customer-focused orientation and strong sense of delivery. Supervisory experience would be an asset
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office
• Must have previous experience working with automotive customer portals
