Job summary

Flex-N-Gate in Ontario, Canada, is seeking an Assembly Operator to weigh, inspect, and test materials and products to meet established standards. You will also sort, crate, and package these materials and products in accordance with Flex-N-Gate policies and procedures.

The role includes a midnight shift and requires strict adherence to safety guidelines. You will work with a team to ensure accurate production cards and inspections, while maintaining quality standards and timely output.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials and equipment within the plant.
• Complete production cards accurately.

• Assist other operators and workers as needed.
• Adhere to safety requirements and PPE protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary

The Assembly Operator is responsible for weighing, visually inspecting, and testing materials and products to meet established inspection standards. This role will also sort, crate, and package these materials and products in accordance with Flex-N-Gate policies and procedures.

We have opportunities available on our midnight shift.

Job Duties

• Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually or using powered equipment
• Complete production cards fully and with accuracy
• Complete appropriate Pre-Use Inspection forms
• Check and weigh materials and products
• Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products
• Assist other machine operators, assemblers, and other workers when required
• Adhere to all safety requirements within the plant including wearing appropriate PPE at all times
• Other duties as assigned
