Job summary

Amrize Canada Inc. is seeking a Shipping Loader Operator for our Cawthra Depot in Mississauga. You will load customer vehicles with aggregate using wheel loaders and related equipment, following Amrize’s policies and safety standards.

The role requires a valid G license, manual labor with heavy lifting, and willingness to travel to other GTA depots. The position offers a supportive team culture, competitive benefits, and opportunities for growth within a growing North American company.

Qualifications

• Canadian secondary school diploma or equivalent.
• Loader Operator experience is required.
• Valid G license is required, First Aid, LOTOTO, Specific mobile equipment training, Surface Miner Courses are an asset.
• Mechanical aptitude and computer literacy.
• Travel to other depots within the GTA; nights/weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Cawthra Depot in accordance with Amrize’s Best Practices and Policies.
• Operate equipment such as CAT 980, CAT 908, and forklifts to load customer vehicles, manage the concrete rubble pile, and assist with internal crushing crew tasks.
• Ensure the site meets or exceeds all Amrize and Regulatory environmental and safety guidelines.
• Perform daily inspections of equipment as part of the preventative maintenance program.
• Assisting the Portable Crushing team with stockpiling material, transporting rubble, and clean up around the work area.
• The loader operator will also manage the concrete rubble stockpile to ensure it is safe at all times.
• Work at other depots within the GTA as required (travel mileage will be compensated).
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies.
