Qualifications

  • Ability to accurately use and read tape measures in Imperial and Metric units.
  • Ability to stand throughout the entire shift.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs frequently and through entirety of shift.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks, in a continuous manner, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery, equipment, and hand tools efficiently.
  • Follow SOPs and WIs precisely, safely and timely.
  • Inspect glass for defects, damages, or quality issues.
  • Separate damaged products from those that are in good condition and report issues to supervisors for further action.
  • Notify management of any deviations in production quality, performance, or other roadblocks and implement corrective actions as directed.
  • Lift, carry, and move materials and products weighing up to 50lbs throughout the entire shift.
  • Maintain accurate counts and records of completed units.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure that production goals are met, and workflows are efficient.
  • Assist with various tasks involved in the production process, which may include setting up machinery, monitoring production runs, and making adjustments as needed.
  • Engage in activities related to maintaining production efficiency, such as checking inventory levels, replenishing supplies, and ensuring that production workflows are smooth.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and management to ensure seamless operations and timely production.
  • Ensure all operations are performed in compliance with the SOPs, WIs, company safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while working with machinery and glass products and components; encourage a culture of safety on the production floor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following housekeeping standards to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies in all aspects of the job.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed based on production demands, company needs, or supervisory requests.

The chosen candidate will be placed into a specific production role and then be expected to cross-train across other similar roles, while following our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
